Norway's police fired their guns just twice last year

In 2014, Norway's police force brandished firearms 42 times, fired them twice, and killed no one. The last time someone was killed by police there was 2006. Norway, with a population of just over 5 million people, has strict gun laws that generally limit ownership to hunting and sporting. Most police officers don't even carry firearms.
